MANAGERS
GOOD MANAGEMENT, RESERVATION STYLE

"The kiss of death is to say, 'He isn't a people person', because people is all we got working here at Chrysler." - Lee Iacocca

"“Each tribe had its historians who considered it a sacred duty to instruct selected young men carefully in the traditions of the nation, just as their own teachers had taught them.” from the book Mythic Warriors

As a successful manager, it is your responsibility to instruct the young men, and women, carefully.

Manager's Toolkit - click here - for answers to common problems managers face including firing, orientation, communication and organization.

Being a people person, understanding your employees: Being a good manager means managing the people you have. It doesn't do any good to complain about the turnover or attendance other places, the lack of tribal politics in other places. You don't work in other places with other people. You work with the people you have, right here. You need to hire the right people, motivate them and give them the tools they need to succeed.

Creating a successful work environment: What do we mean by a successful work environment? We mean an organization where people come to work and do a good job, where people want to work for you.
