• Provides outreach, information and referral services to promote access to quality care
• Pays for specialist consultations and diagnostic tests to identify disabling or chronic
conditions early
• Pays for the specialty care to treat medically eligible conditions
• Coordinates and supports multidisciplinary clinics and services for children with select
conditions
• Supports essential public health services to improve the health of North Dakotans
• Provides technical assistance and financial support to enhance systems of care.
