WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO USE THIS WEBSITE
At the very least, you need a computer, a web browser and some type of Internet connection. You also need a couple of software applications. If you don't have an Internet connection, keep reading. We have a nice surprise for you.

To get the most out of this website, it would be best if you had some software that read pdf files. This is just a kind of document that can be read across all kinds of computers and software. The most common software used to read pdf documents is Adobe Reader and it is free. To find out if you have it, click here to read common questions on special education. A page should come up with information on IEPs. Take some time and read it. It is very short. Those of you who are fast readers can go get a cup of coffee now. If a page did NOT open up with the article on questions about special education then you need to get something that will read pdf files. If you have Internet access, click here to go to a page where you can get Adobe Reader.

Some of the things you might want to see and keep are PowerPoint presentations. These will be copied on to your computer when you click on the link. You will then have to click on the file on your computer to open it. Click here to download a Powerpoint presentation that is an introduction to the Disability Access Training project. Once this file has been downloaded on to your computer, you will need to double-click on it to open it. If you have Powerpoint on your computer, it will open. If you do not have Powerpoint (it comes with MicrosoftOffice), you can go to this link to download the free PowerPoint viewer which will let you see the PowerPoint presentations.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS OR HAVE A VERY SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION, YOU MAY WANT TO USE THIS WEBSITE FROM A CD-ROM. All of the web pages designed by Disability Access are on the CD-ROM, along with many web pages designed by others who gave us permission to reproduce their pages CD case opening
