what to do about a stubborn employee

I have a colleague who has been at my job forever and a day and is very set in her ways.  My office is currently going through some major changes to improve the way it works and everyone is excited about this - except for her.  She resists at every change and blows up at staff meetings whenever a new situation is brought up.  Why doesn't our boss do something about this?  I wonder how she can feel right with being so disrespectful to our boss.

Maybe she's having an affair with the boss, cause if I were the man in charge  I wouldn't allow it to happen.

Well I don't think that's the case, since the boss is a woman ...

When some people have worked for ages at a company. They want to get fired so they can get their settlement for all the years served at the company. Some think they might know more than the boss, especially if the boss hasn't worked as many years  as that worker.

If you really think that means she couldn't be having an affair you must be really young.
