I just got done analyzing the data on the labor force survey Angie did on the Spirit Lake Nation. One could look at it as being kind of depressing. In a nutshell, it says that people have low-paying jobs because they don't have the training they need and they can't get to training because they don't have transportation and they don't have transportation because they have low-paying jobs. You could get depressed. However, Erich said something like this ....

I was born here. I was raised here. And, when my children and grandchildren are all raised, I am going to turn my face to the sun and die here, because I’m an Indian.

So, he said, we are going to create jobs and have training right here on this reservation.

Well, all righty then!  I guess I better get the proposal to USDA done.
