SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS
North Dakota Talking Books
The North Dakota State Library Disability Services provides talking books and magazines to any North Dakota resident who is unable to read standard print material because of a visual, physical, or reading impairment.
As a patron of the program you will have access to over sixty thousand titles including fiction and non-fiction books. Material is mailed directly to your home and can be returned to the library postage free.
Talking book machines and accessories are provided at no cost to you.
Who can apply?
Any North Dakota resident with a visual, physical, or reading impairment that prevents him/her from reading standard print material.
What will it cost to participate?
The North Dakota State Library and the National Library Service (NLS) provide this program at no cost to you.
